Ono ono Umeke
The ponzu barbecue sauce on the meatloaf sandwich at Umeke market is pretty killer. Add the crispy bread and you have the makings of a gastronomically superior afternoon repast…. er, yeah. This image was shot for Umeke’s latest lunchtime promo. I really have a soft spot for food - it goes hand in hand with the soft spot around my midline.

These are a few pics from a catered event at a private Hawaii Kai residence. We were contracted by Humanhand to shoot food shots and portraits of the chef and owner of a soon to be renamed and rebranded catering subsidiary of a well-known local eatery - whew! Carb Loading
We shot a number of Ba-Le Bakeshop’s baked goods (granola, cookies, lavosh, biscotti, etc.) for their upcoming website redesign by Humanhand. Most of the goods were quite yummy - too hard to shoot without nibbling a little. I’ll repost a link to the site when it is done.
